The JINNING Laboratory provides analytical services for the geochemistry and hard rock mining industries.

In addition to satisfying your analytical requirements, JINNING aims to form collaborative partnerships and assist our clients in meeting their goals in today’s challenging environment.

JINNING will provide customized solutions that best suit our client’s requirements while ensuring that high-quality analysis and services are not compromised.

Our Core Services

Specialised preparation facilities

Our experienced team manage each stage of the preparation process – drying, crushing, mixing, splitting, and pulverizing – to ensure the creation of representative samples.

The goal of sample preparation is to generate a homogeneous sample that accurately represents the original material.

This necessitates strict control over particle size at each stage, along with representative sub-sampling and splitting.

Sample Preparation

Gold, Platinum and Palladium – Fire Assay

Here at Jinning we employ an efficient fire assay process using a multi-loading and pouring system.

A nominal charge sample undergoes the classical lead collection fire assay process.

The resulting noble metal prill is then parted with acid and dissolved for ICP-OES or AAS finish.

Gold Analysis

Multi Element Metals analysis – ICP-MS, ICP-OES

We offer a range of digestion and fusion techniques, which can be followed by ICP-AES or ICP-MS analysis.

The choice of method for your program will depend on the mineralogy of the samples and the expected concentration range for the elements of interest.

Our methods include aqua regia digestion, four-acid digestion, and peroxide fusion.

Multi Element Analysis

Classical Chemistry

Gravimetric analysis involves measuring the mass of an element or compound after it has been separated from a sample, providing high accuracy for determining major element concentrations.

Volumetric analysis, or titration, adds a reagent to a solution until a reaction is complete, indicated by a color change, to determine specific ion concentrations.

Colorimetry measures the intensity of color in a solution, correlating with the concentration of a particular element or compound, making it useful for detecting trace elements.

Classical Chemistry

Specialised testing is available for popular commodities, including:

  • Precious metals- Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium
  • Battery Metals- Copper, Lithium, Nickel,
  • Uranium
  • Critical and Rare Earth Elements
